Did you set your alarm for 3 a.m. Friday? Apparently, you aren’t alone.
More than 138 million people plan to shop Black Friday weekend, according to a shopping survey conducted for the National Retail Federation.
Before you head out to the stores, check the StateCollege.com Holiday Guide, which lists extended hours and holiday promotions for big-box stores, local retailers, and the Nittany Mall. You’ll find deals on everything from tattoos to Tussey Mountain gift certificates.
A few highlights:
- Flesh Décor, 332 E. Calder Way, opens at 10 a.m. Black Friday and is offering 30 percent off regular merchandise and 70 percent off clearance items.
- Local Wal-Mart stores, 373 Benner Pike and 1665 N. Atherton St., are open 24 hours. Black Friday specials run from 5 to 11 a.m.
- Bon-Ton in the Nittany Mall opens at 3 a.m. and is featuring door busters on 500 items.
