Bon Jovi Expected for Rehearsals at Penn State

The band Bon Jovi is expected to be in State College for tour rehearsals early this week, Bryce Jordan Center sales director Bernie Punt confirmed.

Timing of the Bon Jovi rehearsals was not clear, but they will be performed at the Jordan Center — as they were before the band’s tour in 2003. A technical rehearsal — excluding the band itself — was set for late last week.

Bon Jovi will kick off its ‘Live 2011’ tour on Wednesday evening at the Penn State facility. The iconic band will play more than 50 dates on its tour over the next six months.

At the Jordan Center, the Wednesday concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Tickets were still available Monday morning. Prices are set at the $19.50, $29.50, $49.50, $79.50 and $129 levels.
