CATA Adjusts Service Schedules for the Holiday Period

The Centre Area Transportation Authority has adjusted its service schedules for the holiday period, with full service set to resume Jan. 7.

Details of the holiday-period changes are outlined in the CATA news release below, posted here verbatim:

In observance of the upcoming holiday season, changes in CATA’s CATABUS and CATARIDE services will take effect as follows:

CATABUS and CATARIDE

CATABUS (Community Service) and CATARIDE services will operate their Reduced Service Schedules Sunday, December 18, through Friday, January 6. They will operate only until 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 24 and not operate at all on Sunday, December 25 (Christmas Day), Monday, December 26 (Christmas Observed), Sunday, January 1 (New Year’s Day) or Monday, January 2 (New Year’s Day Observed). Full Service will resume on Saturday, January 7.

The LOOPs and LINKs will operate on their Reduced Service Schedules Sunday, December 18, through Friday, January 6, with no service Friday, December 23, through Monday, January 2. Full Service will resume on Saturday, January 7.

CATA’s Administrative and Downtown Pass Sales offices will both be closed Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2. The Downtown Pass Sales Office will also be closed Tuesday, December 27, through Friday, December 30.
