The wintry weather system expected to sock the Northeast on Tuesday and Wednesday should mostly spare Centre County, AccuWeather.com data show.
Snowfall totals in western Pennsylvania are projected to reach as many as three inches; in parts of New York state, as much as a foot. But in State College, the tally is expected to be about an inch at most, according to AccuWeather.com.
Its forecasts show that overnight snowfall Tuesday could leave as much as an inch locally. That’ll give way to a couple light snow showers Wednesday morning, followed by windy and more clear conditions, according to AccuWeather.com.
The rest of the week should hold little precipitation, with high temperatures in the 30s or low 40s, the forecasts show.
