Former Nittany Lion Brent Wilkerson Sentenced

According to a report by the Centre Daily Times, former Penn State tight end Brent Wilkerson has been sentenced to five years of probation following a plea agreement.

Per the report, Wilkersonpled guilty to the third count in his case, indecent assault by forcible compulsion.

Earlier this year Wilkerson had been drinking according to police reports and fell asleep in the bed of a female friend. The woman later alleged that she woke to Wilkerson kissing and touching her before exposing himself and masturbating. Wilkerson was suspended by Penn State in March he was later released from the team.

According to the CDT report on Tuesday, Wilkerson’s attorney said the former football player would be returning to his home in Maryland. Wilkerson will be required to register as a Tier II sex offender, which mandates 25-year registration under Pennsylvania’s Megan’s Law.
