It’s time to put some Ho Ho Ho in the holiday season and Go Go Go to work on those Christmas wish lists.
Once again, Santa will be answering his mail with a little help from the folks at the State College Sunrise Rotary Club and the Corner Room.
Kids can drop their correspondence in the mailbox that’s parked outside the Corner Room at the intersection of College Avenue and South Allen Street.
Letters mailed right up until Dec. 19 will receive a personal reply from Santa — as long as children remember to include their name and return address!
A second Santa’s mailbox will be set up at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology on Harrison Road in Pleasant Gap. That mailbox will accept letters from Dec. 12-14, during the annual Festival of Trees sponsored by the Centre County United Way.
Children can cut out the middle man and mail their letters directly to this address:
Santa Claus, c/o State College Sunrise Rotary,
P.O. Box 1133
State College, PA 16804
And since Santa will have help answering mail this year, he’ll have time to sit down and share breakfast with kids. That will happen at the Corner Room on Dec. 6, 13 and 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
