One of the new postgame traditions Bill O’Brien announced preseason was the singing of the school’s alma mater on the field following all home games.

‘A lot of us, we forgot about it because it was something we’ve never done before,’ defensive tackle Jordan Hill said Tuesday via teleconference. ‘With everything else going on, it was something we overlooked by accident. It wasn’t anything that because we lost we didn’t want to do it.’
Hill said the team still plans on singing the alma mater following each home game.
