Penn State and Iowa will kickoff at 4 p.m. EDT on Oct. 9 in Iowa City with the game airing nationally on FOX, the network announced on Saturday.
FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff” show be on site for the game, with the broadcast starting at 10 a.m. It’s the second time this year the Nittany Lions have been part of the network’s pregame show, which aired from Madison for the season opener at Wisconsin.
Penn State’s trip to Kinnick will be its first road game since that season-opening victory.
The Nittany Lions are currently ranked No. 6 in the nation and improved to 4-0 with a 38-17 win over Villanova on Saturday. Iowa is No. 5 and 3-0, with its game against Colorado State on Saturday kicking off at 3:30 p.m.
Before heading to Iowa City, Penn State hosts Indiana at 7:30 p.m. next Saturday. ABC will broadcast the game nationally.
The Hawkeyes visit Maryland at 8 p.m. on Friday.
Penn State will be looking to avenge last season’s 41-20 loss to Iowa. Prior to that, the Nittany Lions had a six-game win streak against Iowa, including three victories at Kinnick.
