Penn State Football: Indiana Game Set for 7:30 Kick

Because getting eight hours of sleep a night is simply a suggestion made by worried parents and not something backed by science, Penn State is set for another night showing on ABC when it will host Indiana at 7:30 p.m. on Oct 2. The game was among a handful of kickoff times announced by the Big Twn on Monday afternoon.

Indiana is 1-2 on the year, having lost to Iowa in the season-opener in Iowa City 34-6 and in Bloomington this past Saturday against Cincinnati 38-24. The Hoosiers’ lone win in the early season is a 56-14 victory over Idaho in Week 2.

The Nittany Lions on the other hand are ranked No. 6 in the nation with two Top 25 wins already this season coming off a victory over No. 22 Auburn this past Saturday night. Penn State faces Villanova on Saturday for a noon kick before getting back into Big Ten play against Indiana the following weekend.

Penn State will then travel to Iowa to face the No. 5 ranked Hawkeyes in Iowa City. Indiana faces Western Kentucky this upcoming weekend.

As of Monday afternoon, kick times for Penn State’s clashes in the final five games of the season have yet to be announced including a road trip to Ohio State and a November meeting with Michigan at Beaver Stadium.

Penn State will kick off against Illinois at noon to close out the October home slate of games. The Nittany Lions opened on the road at Wisconsin and are in the midst of a four-game home stand.
