The Centre County Alcohol Task Force will run an impairment checkpoint on Friday, the task force announced Tuesday.
It did not immediately disclose the expected general area of the checkpoint. But ‘officers will be on the lookout for persons impaired by either alcohol or drugs and will arrest anyone driving impaired,’ according to a news release.
The task force caught six drivers for DUI over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, earlier this month. An earlier news report is linked below.
