Mount Nittany is in summer form as the warm days and sun make their way to Happy Valley. If a hike up the mountain is still on your bucket list this Memorial Day Weekend could be the perfect time to do just that.
For more information about planning your hike you can check out a trail map trail map here. If you’re interested in the history of the mountain and want to get involved with local conservation projects just click this link for more information. The Mount Nittany Conservancy is responsible for over 800 acres of Centre County land and over nine miles of trails.
It took one of our brave reporters just under 20 minutes to climb to the top and it was well worth the exercise. You can check out some photos of the climb below.
