Parking Changes Made for Penn State Move-In

With student move-in coming this weekend, Penn State is taking measures to make sure that those who typically park on campus will not be left without a spot as the on-campus undergraduate population comes back to school.

If you park in Lot 22, Eastview Terrace,; Lot 81, South/Pollock Halls,; and Lot 82 (East Halls), you must remove your vehicle from those areas, according to a Penn State News release. Lot 82 pass holders can move back to their spots starting at 6 p.m. Saturday. Those with permits for Lot 22, Lot 42 or Lot 81  can move back to their assigned area starting at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Yellow J and Lot Yellow T are reserved for unloading only until Sunday, and those with those passes must park in the Eisenhower Parking Deck through move-in.

Lot Orange B and the bottom floor of Yellow D is reserved for unloading only through Saturday. Those who use Orange B are supposed to park in East Deck or one of the commuter parking areas.

As for lot Green D, the northeast section and the whole north row is reserved for unloading, while lot Green G is entirely reserved for unloading. Those who usually park there are asked to park at YD (East Deck), until Sunday.

All of Brown E and Green C is reserved for unloading until Sunday, and all who hold passes for those areas should Nittany Parking Deck or Lot Red A.

The first bay ground floor of the HUB Deck will also be reserved through Sunday for unloading. Yellow C permit holders are asked to use the Eisenhower Deck due to the expected high amount of traffic.

One eastbound travel lane on the 600 block of East College Avenue will be closed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday to allow students to use the lane to unload vehicles, according to the release.
