Some parking restrictions in State College Borough will not be enforced for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.
Beginning at 2 a.m. on Saturday through 2 a.m. on Tuesday, the ‘No Parking 2 a.m.-6 p.m.’ restriction will be lifted. One- and two-hour restrictions in residential neighborhoods will not be enforced from noon on Friday through 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
Parking meters will not be enforced in the borough on Monday.
‘No Parking Anytime’ and lawn parking restrictions will, however, be enforced throughout the weekend, as will all other vehicle code violations.
Additionally, CATA’s campus and community bus services and CATARIDE services will not operate on Monday. CATA’s Customer Service Center will be closed on Saturday through Monday.
PennDOT Driver’s License Centers, including the one at Rockview/Pleasant Gap, will be closed Saturday through Monday as well.
