There has been an outpouring of sympathy and hopeful wishes for Joe Paterno this week, who, after being hit and injured during last Saturday’s game, underwent surgery and is recovering at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
According to a Daily Collegian report, Paterno is longing to be back on the sidelines, and calls the coaches from the hospital during practice. Defensive coordinator Tom Bradley and offensive coordinator Galen Hall spoke at yesterday’s Big Ten conference calls, marking the first time in his career that Paterno was not present for the weekly event. The weekly press conference, also usually held on Tuesday, was moved to today, and Paterno’s attendance is tentative. (Read More)
