Penn State Captures Fourth Consecutive Women’s Volleyball Title

Penn State won its fourth consecutive NCAA women’s volleyball title on Saturday night.

The Nittany Lions swept the University of California Golden Bears in three sets. Penn State won 25-20, 27-25 and 25-20, according to an Associated Press report.

The AP reported that Penn State’s Blair Brown tallied 18 kills and 10 digs. Her teammate Deja McClendon managed 16 kills, according to the AP report.

Penn State and California met for the national championship match in Kansas City, Mo.
