Penn State Football: Blue White Game Date And Kick Time Set

Penn State’s annual inter-squad scrimmage will once again take place in the public eye this spring. The program announcing that the game will be played Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. inside Beaver Stadium. A full weekend of events will take place from April 15-16.

The game will air live on the Penn State Sports Network and GoPSUsports.com. The game will not be televised live. More details on the Blue-White Weekend will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Blue-White Game is the university’s unofficial annual spring reunion. Last year, an estimated 68,000 fans were in attendance. The Blue-White Game has drawn more than 50,000 fans in seven of the past nine years, which includes four crowds of 70,000 or more.

Among the slate of athletics events for Blue-White Weekend are: women’s tennis vs. Northwestern (Friday at 4:30 p.m.), softball vs. Maryland (Friday at 6 p.m.; Saturday at 4 p.m.; Sunday at 1 p.m.), men’s golf hosting Rutherford Invitational (Saturday and Sunday), women’s tennis vs. Illinois (Sunday at 11 a.m.) and men’s lacrosse vs. Johns Hopkins (Sunday at 7 p.m.).

Penn State season ticket renewals and Nittany Lion Club membership renewals also are underway for the 2016 campaign, which includes five Big Ten home games for the first time. There will not be any increase in the price of Penn State football season tickets or Nittany Lion Club donation levels for next season.
