Lou Eliades, starting offensive tackle for Penn State, tore his ACL during the Saturday game against Temple and will miss the rest of the 2010 football season, the university announced Sunday.

Eliades, a fifth-year senior, tore the ligament in his right knee during the third quarter Saturday, according to the university announcement. Surgery is expected within the next couple weeks, with rehabilitation to take at least nine months, team medical director Dr. Wayne Sebastianelli said in a news release.

The release notes that Eliades has started all 17 games on the offensive line the past two seasons.
