The Big Ten announced its conference football schedules for 2022 through 2025 today. Penn State hosts five conference games in 2022 and 2024 and welcomes four B1G opponents in 2023 and 2025.
The 2022 Big Ten schedule opens Sept. 3 at Purdue, followed by a home game against Ohio State (Oct. 1) and a road trip to Michigan (Oct. 8).
In 2023, Penn State plays its first two conference games on the road at Illinois (Sept. 16) and Northwestern (Sept. 23). The Nittany Lions return to Beaver Stadium to meet Indiana (Oct. 7) before a trip to Michigan State (Oct. 14) and Ohio State (Oct. 21).
Penn State opens the 2024 Big Ten slate at Rutgers (Sept. 14). After a two-week hiatus, the Lions return to B1G play at home against Maryland (Oct. 5) and Illinois (Oct. 12), before heading to Wisconsin (Oct. 19).
The 2025 Big Ten schedule opens against Rutgers Sept. 20, followed by visit to Illinois (Sept. 27). After a home game against Purdue (Oct. 11), the Nittany Lions head on back-to-back road trips to Maryland (Oct. 18) and Minnesota (Oct. 25).
