The Penn State Homecoming Royalty Committee has announced the 2010 Homecoming Court.

University seniors on the court, named this week, are Dan Cartwright, Danielle DaSilva, Dan Florencio, Marina Johnson, Katherine Larimer, Curran McCready, Jared McKnight, Jessica Pelliciotta, Katy Poole and Justin Ross.

All 10 were named to the court after earning nominations from their peers; filing applications; and interviewing with senior faculty members, staff members and some members of the Penn State Alumni Association, according to an announcement from the Royalty Committee. Seventy-five nominees filed applications to be on the court.

‘The court (comprises) students who are involved in diverse organizations, have juggled jobs with school and have given back to their communities,’ Homecoming Royalty Director Dave Belliveau said in a prepared statement.

Meanwhile, the 2010 Faculty Court for Homecoming includes James Binney, Barry Bram, Frank Clemente, Mary Edgington, Susan James, Cheryl Knobloch, Melissa Marshall and Dirk Mateer., the committee reported.

Penn State students will vote the week of Oct. 4 — Homecoming Week — to choose the Homecoming king and queen from the student court.
