Police: Burglars Strike Twice in College Township

Tools and cash were reported stolen this week from two locations in College Township, State College police said.

Burglars struck at Struble’s Garage, 170 Transfer Road, and the Jabco-Maggi Service Center, 150 Shiloh Road, according to a news release. It all happened sometime between 7:30 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday, police said.

Missing items include socket sets, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, a red metal, a band saw, an extension cord and nut drivers, according to the release. Police said a white cargo van with side glass windows and chrome wheels was spotted about 1 a.m. Friday at Jabco-Maggi.

An investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to call Detective Steve Bosak at (814) 234-7150. Anonymous tips may be submitted via the State College borough website.
