A number of credit cards were stolen at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Benner Pike Wal-Mart, in College Township, State College police said.

The cards were used later to make purchases at local Best Buy and Target stores, as $3,050 in fraudulent charges were tallied under the victim’s name, according to a news release.

State College police have released two store-surveillance images of the suspect in the case. They were taken at 3:40 p.m. Saturday at Target in Patton Township, and they’re posted to the right of this report. (Click on the image to open a gallery.)
