State College Police identified a man who reportedly approached two children in his car on Saturday afternoon and concluded there was no indication of criminal intent.
Two elementary school-aged children were walking on Oak Point Circle when a white male driving a white sedan drove up to them and offered them cookies. He did nothing further to entice them into his car, and the children ran back to their home.
Police investigated the incident as suspicious activity and were able to identify the man.
