Pennsylvania State Police at Rockview are searching for a Miles Township teen who was reported missing on Wednesday morning.
Matthew King, 13, was last seen at about 6:30 a.m. leaving his family’s residence on Madisonburg Pike en route to a barn about 200 feet away, his father reported to police. The barn and surrounding area were checked, but he was not found.
King was last seen wearing black trousers and a black jacket. He is 5 feet 3 inches tall and has brown hair.
Police are using a helicopter to search the area and Miles Township Fire Company also is searching for King.
Anyone who sees King or who has information should call state police at 814-355-7545 or call 911.
