The fifth annual HUB Student Season Basketball Ticket Sale will be held Wednesday, the university athletics department announced.
Scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the sale will be hosted in Alumni Hall and the HUB’s main entrance, according to a news release. Penn State students will be treated to free popcorn and cotton candy during the day, as well as grilled stickies from the Diner in the morning and free Quizno’s subs at lunch.
Nittany Lion basketball season tickets are $59 apiece for students and include a free Nittany Nation T-shirt.
Penn State will also be collecting registrations at the HUB for the fifth annual THON Dodgeball Tournament, sponsored by Nittany Lion basketball. This year’s tourney, set for Nov. 6 at the Penn State Multi-Sport Complex, will include 160 teams, according to the news release.
The tourney entry fee is $60 per team; all proceeds will benefit THON 2012. The event raised more than $32,000 for the Four Diamonds Fund in its first four years.
