Schlow Centre Region Library will have limited services for the next few days because of a second-floor sprinkler issue caused by the extreme cold.
Only the first floor will be open to patrons until further notice, but the library will maintain normal hours through Sunday. It will open at noon on Monday.
Patrons will be able to pick up any book reserves they may have and the community room will have a small number of tables and chairs for those needing work space. Anyone with children will have access to the Children’s Department.
The ‘Shall We Dance?’ program scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday will take place next door in the State College Municipal Building community room, 243 S. Allen St.
Any updates will be announced at schlowlibrary.org as well as on the library’s Facebook and Twitter accounts
