For the fourth year, the Seats for Servicemembers program will salute everyone who’s served in uniform with free tickets for the Penn State/Army football game this fall.
There will also be a complimentary pregame tailgate at the Bryce Jordan Center across the street from Beaver Stadium.
The football tickets are available to active duty servicemen and servicewomen, veterans and Gold Star families.
The giveaway is meant to honor “the commitment and sacrifices of veterans, families and loved ones.”
The tickets are donated by supporters who pay $35 for each seat.
The free tickets will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis for the Oct. 3 game.
Those who are eligible may qualify for one complimentary ticket for themselves and three additional complimentary seats for immediate family members. Up to five additional tickets are available for $35 per person. Click HERE to take part in the Seats for Servicemembers program.
Penn State hosted 5,500 military members for the Temple game last season.
So far, more than 5,000 Seats for Servicemembers tickets have been donated. You can make a donation online by clicking HERE or by calling 1-800-NITTANY during normal business hours.
