State College Police said all roads in the borough have been plowed and cleared as of Thursday. Crews continue to work on cul-de-sacs and alleys, though those should be completed shortly.
Public works crews will remove snow from North Atherton Street and downtown on-street parking areas and lots tonight, police said.
All vehicles must be moved from downtown streets and on-street metered areas by 2 a.m. Friday, or be subject to towing.
Overnight parking is available in the Borough lots: the Pugh Street garage, Beaver Garage, McAllister Deck and Fraser Garage.
Police said further questions should be directed to the department at 814-234-7150.

State College Borough, Ferguson Township, Patton Township and College Township are all under a snow emergency.
- Residents are required to remove their parked vehicles from all township roads and streets to allow snow plows to clear the street. Vehicles that are not removed from the street will be ticketed and may be towed.
- Fraser Street garage, Pugh Street garage, McAllister Deck and public parking lots remain open.
- Residents and businesses are reminded to clear sidewalks of snow and ice within 24 hours after the snow storm has ended.
- Residents and businesses are not permitted to shovel, plow or blow snow from driveways, parking lots and/or sidewalks into the streets.
A reminder for those in State College Borough: The “No Parking 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.” restrictions will not be enforced through Jan. 6. The restrictions will begin again at 2 a.m. on Jan. 7.

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a winter storm warning from 10 a.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday.
According to AccuWeather, 4-8 inches of heavy snow is expected to accumulate before turning over to sleet. Freezing rain is also possible Wednesday evening.
The heavy snow will spread in from the South during the late morning and afternoon, and the mixed precipitation will turn over to snow showers late Wednesday night, according to AccuWeather.
Winds are expected to hold steady at 5-10 mph Wednesday before increasing to 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph Wednesday night. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s and lower 30s, and visibility, at times, will be less than half a mile, according to AccuWeather.
Blankets, food, a flashlight and cell phone are items motorists are urged to include in their travels. Taking an alternate route, avoiding the storm if possible, is also urged.
