The Boss is coming to town.
And he’s finishing a tour that started 36 years ago.
Bruce Springsteen will launch the second leg of The River Tour, which began in October of 1980 and is named after his iconic fifth album, at the Bryce Jordan Center on April 18.
The tour is the first since 2014 for Springsteen and the E Street Band, and comes after the December release of ‘The Ties That Bind: The River Collection,’ an archival box set with unreleased tracks, four hours of video, and more.
The original album includes classic Springsteen songs like ‘Hungry Heart,’ ‘Fade Away,’ ‘Independence Day,’ ‘The River,’ and ‘Point Blank.’
