A late wave of wintry weather is expected to bring two rounds of snow to the State College area late this week, according to AccuWeather.com.
The forecast calls for an inch or two of wet snow Wednesday night — just enough perhaps to make the roads slightly slippery, with some black ice possible, according to the weather website.
Thursday morning will see some clearing, but another round of wet snow is likely Thursday night and into Friday morning, AccuWeather.com reported. That round could drop one to three inches on the region.
High temperatures over the weekend are expected to climb into the 40s, with some temperatures in the 50s anticipated next week, according to the website.
