Penn State football coaches gathered for a meeting Friday evening at the Lasch complex at University Park.
Shortly before 6 p.m., quarterbacks coach Jay Paterno emerged to get in his car. He spoke with reporters but said little.
“They’re going to make the announcement when they make it,” Paterno said. “I don’t have anything for you, guys.”
