Centre Region residents may see a low-flying helicopter hovering over Millbrook Marsh Nature Center on Tuesday and Wednesday.
West Penn Power will be using the helicopter to replace a utility pole on Tuesday and Wednesday near the bird blind at the nature center on Puddintown Road, according to an advisory from College Township.
“Be advised that nearby residents and businesses can anticipate seeing and hearing the helicopter, which will be flying at low altitude and hovering over the Marsh, during this work period,” the advisory stated.
The Millbrook Marsh boardwalk will be temporary closed during the project, which is dependent on weather conditions.
