The State College area may finish the weekend with some measurable snow.

The National Weather Service at State College has issued a winter weather advisory for 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday for portions of Central Pennsylvania, including all of Centre County.

Snow is likely to begin in the early morning hours with 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible, according to NWS. AccuWeather forecasts 1 to 3 inches. Temperatures are expected to hover around freezing during the daytime with a high of 34 degrees.
