The YMCA of Centre County’s Summer Lunch Program will return for 2026 to provide weekly bulk meal distributions for children while schools are out of session.
Families wishing to participate must pre-register for the program by completing the required application. Only one application per family is needed. Once submitted, families are automatically enrolled and will not receive a confirmation notice.
Meal distributions will take place weekly at designated pickup sites (listed below). Parents or legal guardians are the only individuals permitted to pick up meals for participating children. Families may only participate at one USDA Summer Lunch Program site and are not permitted to receive meals from additional sites operated by other organizations.
Participants are encouraged to arrive during their designated pickup window, as all distribution sites will close promptly at the scheduled end time. For additional information and the application form, visit ymcaofcentrecounty.org/programs/youth-development/feeding-our children or contact Mel Curtis at mcurtis@ymcaocc.org.
