For only $50 and a little bit of humility, Penn State alumni will get a chance to relive the good old days this Arts Fest. You can look at some art, enjoy downtown, and then head back to your dorm courtesy of the Penn State Alumni Association.

The alumni association, working with residence life is offering on-campus lodging during Arts Fest week from July 10 through July 14. Alumni will be able to enjoy the ritz and luxury of West Halls, including a complimentary Waring Commons dining hall breakfast each day.

Also included with a room are linens, blanket, towel, wash cloth, and bar of soap. However, guests are being warned that air conditioning is not included. A limited number of fans are available for rent. Otherwise, Alumni Association strongly suggests you bring your own fan.

Rooms are $50 per person for Penn State Alumni Association members. A rollaway cot can be added for children under age 18 for $20 a night. That’s a bargain considering what some hotels charge during the Arts Fest weekend.

All effort will be made to grant room requests, so if you ever lived in West Halls, here’s your chance to go back and show your family what it was like.
