Penn State’s 2027 class has its first offensive lineman.

Three-star recruit Owen Reilly committed to the Nittany Lions, he announced on Instagram on Friday afternoon. Reilly ranks as the No. 12 Maryland native, No. 36 interior offensive lineman and No. 587 overall prospect in the cycle, per the 247Sports composite rankings.

Heading into his senior season at Bel Air High School, Reilly is already listed at 6-foot-3.5 and 290 pounds, bringing great size. Though he played left tackle as a junior, he projects as a guard at the college level. Reilly is both a two-way player and a multi-sport athlete, spending time at defensive end on the gridiron as well as participating in wrestling and track and field.

He held offers from Oregon, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Pitt, South Carolina and others, and he was recently on campus for an unofficial visit earlier this week.

With his commitment, Reilly becomes the eighth member of Penn State”s 2027 class, bumping the group up to No. 16 nationally and No. 6 in the Big Ten Conference, per 247Sports.
