Former Nittany Lions made their mark across the league in the second week of the 2026 NFL preseason, headlined by receiver Trebor Peña grabbing his first career touchdown and Sean Clifford turning in an efficient half of football for Cincinnati.

Drew Allar, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers: Allar couldn’t match his Week 1 success, completing just 11 of 23 passes for 110 yards, though he was under constant pressure and dealt with several wide receiver drops. He recorded no touchdowns or interceptions and was sacked three times for a loss of 29 yards. He added one carry for four yards.
Sean Clifford, Quarterback, Cincinnati Bengals: Clifford played the entire second half, completing 10 of 15 passes for 126 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He added four carries for 11 yards and helped his hometown team to a 27-9 victory over the Chicago Bears.
Will Levis, Quarterback, Tennessee Titans: Levis was the third quarterback to get into the game for the Titans behind Cam Ward and Mitchell Trubisky. He completed four of nine passes for 15 yards and matched that with four carries for 15 yards in the win against Seattle.
Trebor Peña, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars: Peña posted another noteworthy showing, hauling in four passes for 72 yards including his first professional touchdown.
Kaytron Allen, Running Back, Washington Commanders: Allen took a step back statistically, recording just 30 yards on 10 carries against Detroit. His longest of the day came on his first touch, an 11-yard scamper. He added one catch for no yards.
Jaylen Reed, Safety, Houston Texans: Reed continued to impress entering his second season in the league, posting six tackles (three solo) in the Texans’ loss to the Raiders.
Devonte Ross, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Chargers: Ross hauled in two passes on three targets for 24 yards in a loss to the 49ers, though he fumbled following a 14-yard kick return.
Hunter Nourzad, Offensive Lineman, Kansas City Chiefs: Nourzard played 36 snaps and allowed no pressures against Tampa Bay, earning the highest pass blocking grade on the team per PFF.
Dom DeLuca, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens: DeLuca saw extensive playing time and totaled four tackles, including one behind the line of scrimmage during the Ravens’ win over the Vikings. He’s battling for a roster spot after being signed as an undrafted free agent.
Drew Shelton, Offensive Tackle, Dallas Cowboys: Shelton allowed one sack, one quarterback hit and two hurries for a combined four pressures on 55 offensive snaps against the Cardinals.
