The 2026 NFL preseason came to a close this weekend, with a plethora of former Nittany Lions in action across the league.
Three former Penn State quarterbacks highlighted the group, but many others got on the field as they battled for 53-man roster spots. Here’s a recap of the action.
Drew Allar, Quarterback, Pittsburgh Steelers: Allar played the entire second half for the Steelers, completing just nine of 18 passes for 88 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. He led one touchdown drive but failed fourth-down conversions on consecutive possessions to end the game with a loss.
Dani Dennis-Sutton, Defensive End, Green Bay Packers: Dennis-Sutton saw his first preseason action, registering two tackles including a sack. He added a quarterback hit and three hurries, per PFF.
Harrison Wallace III, Wide Receiver, Arizona Cardinals: Wallace snagged two receptions for 11 yards and added three kick returns for 81 yards and one punt return for 8 yards.
Sean Clifford, Quarterback, Cincinnati Bengals: Clifford completed five of nine attempts for 53 yards with one passing touchdown. All three Bengal touchdown drives came in the second half with Clifford on the field. He added one carry for 3 yards.
Will Levis, Quarterback, Tennessee Titans: In his best performance of the preseason, Levis connected on 14 of 22 pass attempts for 143 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.
Nick Singleton, Running Back, Tennessee Titans: Singleton didn’t play last week but returned to action and racked up seven carries for 26 yards with two receptions for 18 yards.
Coziah Izzard, Defensive Tackle, Cleveland Browns: Izzard played 29 snaps on Thursday, registering two tackles, a sack and a quarterback hit. However, he was waived on Friday ahead of 53-man roster cuts.
Liam Clifford, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Chargers: After recently signing with the Chargers, Clifford saw his first preseason action on Thursday and hauled in a 24-yard reception. Last season at Penn State, he had just 25 total receiving yards.
Kaytron Allen, Running Back, Washington Commanders: Allen struggled on Friday, toting three carries for 4 yards with a fumble. He added a 9-yard kick return.
Dom DeLuca, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens: DeLuca led all Ravens with 54 total snaps, including a team-best eight tackles.
Adisa Isaac, Linebacker, Baltimore Ravens: Playing alongside DeLuca, Isaac registered six tackles, tied for second-most on the team. He also recorded a sack.
Jahan Dotson, Wide Receiver, Atlanta Falcons: Dotson saw just 14 snaps but hauled in three receptions on three targets for 27 yards.
Cam Miller, Cornerback, Carolina Panthers: Miller recorded his first NFL interception and added a tackle in the Panthers’ win over the Houston Texans.
Trebor Peña, Wide Receiver, Jacksonville Jaguars: Peña snagged three receptions on six targets for 19 yards, adding a 3-yard carry and three punt returns for 29 total yards.
Hunter Nourzad, Center, Kansas City Chiefs: The former Nittany Lion saw 35 snaps and allowed no pressures, earning the highest pass blocking grade on the team per PFF.

Zane Durant, Defensive Tackle, Buffalo Bills: Two tackles and one quarterback hit
Abdul Carter, Defensive End, New York Giants: One pressure on three snaps
Nick Dawkins, Center, Baltimore Ravens: Dawkins played 22 snaps, allowing three total pressures on 11 dropbacks. He was later waived.
Drew Shelton, Offensive Tackle, Dallas Cowboys: Shelton allowed no pressures on 34 snaps.
Jalen Kimber, Cornerback, Cincinnati Bengals: Five tackles, four solo
Smith Vilbert, Defensive End, Minnesota Vikings: One tackle for loss and one quarterback hit
Jesse Luketa, Linebacker, New England Patriots: Three tackles, two solo
KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Chargers: One reception for 21 yards
Devonte Ross, Wide Receiver, Los Angeles Chargers: One reception for 9 yards
Curtis Jacobs, Linebacker, Washington Commanders: Three tackles, one solo
Amani Oruwariye, Cornerback, Baltimore Ravens: One tackle
Rodney McGraw, Defensive End, Miami Dolphins: One tackle
Fatorma Mulbah, Defensive Tackle, Miami Dolphins: One tackle
Jordan Stout, Punter, New York Giants: Two punts for an average of 69.5 yards with a long of 81
Mitchell Tinsley, Wide Receiver, Cincinnati Bengals: One reception for 31 yards
