At Big Ten media day activities today in Chicago, Penn State coach Joe Paterno seemed more robust than he has been in years at this time of the summer. “Well, I feel a lot better than I did a year ago,” Paterno said in response to the first question, which, of course, dealt with his health. “I had two tough years physically.”
