Penn State’s coaching changes aren’t done yet.

Nittany Lion wide receivers coach Noah Pauley has been hired away by the Green Bay Packers, according to a report by CBS’ Matt Zenitz on Thursday morning. He followed head coach Matt Campbell from Iowa State and was reportedly added to the staff on Dec. 16, less than two months ago.

Pauley met with reporters for the first time just one day prior as part of a National Signing Day media session, where he fielded questions about the upcoming season in Happy Valley. Instead, he’s headed to the professional ranks for the first time.

He’s credited with developing wide receiver Christian Watson while coaching at North Dakota State, who he’ll reunited with in Green Bay. Pauley also developed Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel with the Cyclones, who both earned starting roles with the Houston Texans last season.

Now, Campbell will need to find another wide receivers coach after working with Pauley for the previous three seasons. With the news coming late in the cycle, options are limited.
