A total of 10 Penn State players have been invited to the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine held in Indianapolis the league announced on Tuesday morning. The combine is a key part of the NFL Draft process with on-field testing as well as off the field interviews with leagues scouts, general managers and coaches. The testing portion of the combine begins on February 29th.

While the draft is a constantly fluid process, Penn State is widely expected to have a successful draft with offensive tackle Olu Fashanu and defensive end Chop Robinson both potential first round choices with Fashanu a likely Top 10 pick according to some draft experts.

The complete list of Penn State participants includes: TE Theo Johnson, OT Olu Fashanu, OL Hunter Nourzad, OL Caedan Wallace, DE Adisa Isaac, DE Chop Robinson, LB Curtis Jacobs, CB Johnny Dixon, CB Daequan Hardy and CB Kalen King.

Defensive linemen and linebackers will begin the testing periods on Thursday, February 29th with defensive backs and tight ends following on Friday with quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs taking the field Saturday. Offensive linemen will round out the long weekend with Sunday testing. The majority of the combine coverage can be found on the NFL Network.

Penn State players who want to work out again, or were not invited to the combine will do so at Penn State’s on-campus Pro Day, the date of which has not yet been announced. The 2024 NFL Draft is slated for April 25th-27th in Detroit.
