A series of webinars featuring Penn State alumni who are leaders in the communications industry discussing their expertise about creating content kicks off on Tuesday (Jan. 26) with respected leaders from CBS News and ESPN.
Mark Lima, West Coast bureau chief for CBS News, and Rob King, senior vice president and editor-at-large for ESPN, will discuss documentaries and news features during the opening webinar of the Creating Content in 2021 series. The hour-long session, which is open to the public, begins at 6 p.m. on Zoom. Advance registration is not required.
It will be moderated by Pam Hervey, an Emmy Award-winning producer and president of the Alumni Society Board in the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications. The five-part series was created by the Bellisario College alumni board.
Upcoming webinars will feature alumni from Black Enterprise, Discovery, Google, NBCUniversal, News Corp., the New York Times and more.
