Penn State Football: Auburn Game Set for 7:30 Kick at Beaver Stadium

Penn State’s much anticipated Sept. 18 contest vs. Auburn in Beaver Stadium will kick at 7:30 p.m. on ABC. Penn State announced the kick time on Tuesday morning.

For Penn State is will be the 191st all-time appearance on ABC, the Nittany Lions are 110-78-1 all-time record in games broadcasted by ABC. The contest also marks the 22nd consecutive season Penn State will play at least one regular season night game with 308 of its last 310 games being on TV., including every game in the last 17 seasons.

Penn State is 1-1 all-time against Auburn last defeated the Tigers to the tune of a 43-14 victory in the 1996 Outback Bowl while Auburn took the 2003 Capital One Bowl by a score of 13-9.

Auburn is the first SEC opponent to visit Beaver Stadium since Alabama in 2011.

So far the Week 3 meeting is the only game so far this season for the Nittany Lions with an announced start time. Penn State is looking to bounce back from a 4-5 season in 2020 but will have a difficult road to do so, opening the 2021 campaign at Wisconsin before facing Auburn not long thereafter.

In addition to Auburn, Penn State hosts Michigan, Indiana, Rutgers, Illinois, Villanova and Ball State at Beaver Stadium this season.
