The 2026 edition of THON, Penn State’s 46-hour dance marathon and the largest student-run philanthropy in the world, will take place from Friday, Feb. 20, to Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Bryce Jordan Center, the organization announced Friday afternoon.
THON’s 2026 fiscal year will start on July 1 with its fifth annual “Ignite The Fight” campaign, kicking off the fundraising efforts.
The annual dance marathon marks the culmination of year-round efforts by more than 16,500 student volunteers to provide financial and emotional support to pediatric cancer patients through its sole beneficiary, Four Diamonds at Penn State Health Children’s Hospital.
After raising $17.7 million “For The Kids” during THON 2025, the organization broke its previous record of $16.95 million set in 2024.
Since its inception in 1972, THON has raised more than $254 million dollars.
