Crumbl Cookies Sets Opening Date for State College Area Store

One of the most popular cookie chains in the nation will finally open its door in State College later this month.

Crumbl Cookies will open its new State College location at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, a spokesperson for the company confirmed. The store is located at 19 Colonnade Way in the former location of Jos. A. Bank, which closed in 2020.

Crumbl’s State College bakery will be the company’s first location in Centre County. It currently operates more than a dozen shops throughout Pennsylvania, including one in Williamsport and a few near Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Since Crumbl’s founding in 2017, the Utah-based company has expanded with more than 500 stores throughout the United States.

A weekly rotating menu of unique flavors gives Crumbl its claim to fame. This week’s menu, which celebrates the company’s five-year anniversary, includes cookies flavored after cake batter, strawberry milk and Muddy Buddies treats. Chocolate chip cookies are available each week as the menu’s lone fixture.

Crumbl’s weekly cookie flavors are announced on the company’s social media pages at 8 p.m. EST every Sunday.

All Crumbl shops operate on the same weekly schedule. Shops are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Crumbl shops are always closed on Sundays.

While in-store purchases are available, Crumbl also offers its cookie via delivery and curbside pickup. Shipping and catering services are available, too. No matter how they come, Crumbl orders always arrive in the company’s distinct pink boxes.

State College’s location will offer in-person ordering only during its first few days of operations. Delivery, curbside pickup, catering and nationwide shipping will be available starting on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Crumbl maintains a heavy social media presence thanks its nearly 10 million followers spread across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. Fans often share content reviewing each week’s flavors.
