Barbara G. Gallo, 77, of Bellefonte, passed away at her home on Monday, February 9, 2026. Born on January 15, 1949, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes Kucas Gibney.
Barbara was a 1966 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. She was a Centre County Court Administrator for many years before retiring.
Survived by a son, Matthew (Amy) Gallo, of Mechanicsburg, and daughter Alison (Kristy) Gallo of Bellefonte. Also survived by three cherished grandsons Zander and Crosby of Mechanicsburg and Myles of Bellefonte.
Also surviving are a sister Delores Gibney of State College, Barb’s ex-husband and best friend, Dallas Gallo of Bellefonte and her partner of over 40 years, Daniel McGee of Bellefonte.
Although a Gallo through and through, Barb loved being part of the large Kucas family and being an adopted member of the McGee family. Also close to her heart was the family in South Carolina, including Ben (Holly), Ort, Tony, Chandler, Braydon and Tinley. On the Gallo side, a former brother-in-law, Michael (Rose) Gallo of Nevada and niece, Gina Treible Gallo, of Virginia
Barb was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Ort, her husband Robert, niece Stephanie, great niece Mya, as well as a brother-in-law, Richard Wiley.
Services will be private. A drop-in will be held at the Nittany Country Club, 110 Country Club Drive, Mingoville, PA on March 29, 2026 from 1–5pm..
