Barbara Sue Frigo, 49, of Blanchard, entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on February 27, 1974, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Richard G. “Dick” and Nancy J. (Thompson) Carra. She had lost her father at the young age of 16 and her uncle, Bibby Thompson, had stepped in, helping his sister, Nancy, in raising her. On September 13, 2019, she married Jeremy M. Frigo.

Barb graduated from Penns Valley High School in 1992. She started working at the Centre County Correctional Facility in 2015 in the kitchen and then became a corrections officer in 2017. She worked hard and enjoyed her employment and made many friends there over the years.

Barb was a loving individual that never met a stranger. She was non-judgmental and made friends with those she met, no matter what walk of life they came from. She was the light in the room, always with a smile on her face. She had endured many tragedies throughout her life but she never allowed that to dampen her smile and compassion. She enjoyed cooking and loved riding motorcycles. She loved her canine companions, Willow and Wyatt. She was empathetic to those around her, whether she knew them personally or not. An honest and strong woman, who loved her family more than anything else in the world. She held many titles, CO, friend, cousin, sister, aunt, wife, and mom but her favorite title was “Nanny”. She cherished every moment spent with her only grandson, Oliver. Her legacy will live on in all those that she has touched over the years.

Along with her husband and Uncle Bibby, Barb is survived by her daughters, Cassandra J. McCormack and her husband, Tyler Roberts, of West Chester and Zoe G. Parsons of Port Matilda; her step son, Cyle Sendzick and his wife, Hali, of Laurelton; her grandson, Oliver Roberts; her siblings, Rick Carra and his wife, Molly, of Bellefonte, Marie Rossman and Marie’s daughter, Cheyenne, of Snow Shoe, and Tammy Way and her husband, Wayne, of State College; her cousin that she was extremely close to, Bobby Thompson and his wife, Teree, of Aaronsburg; her cousin, Amanda Neese (Gavin) of Spring Mills; her two lifelong friends, Melissa Vonada (Brian) of Aaronsburg and Beck Guisewhite (Scott) of Millheim; her dear friends, Peggy and Posey; her ex-husband, whom she remained close friends with, Lindy Parsons (Antoinette) of State College; and numerous other family members and friends.

Along with her parents, Barb was preceded in death by her twin brother, Brian “Bubba” Carra in August of 2000.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 5pm to 8pm at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, 101 Mill Street, Millheim, PA.
