Edward L. Myers, 78, of Philipsburg, PA, died on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at his home.
Born on October 23, 1947, in Philipsburg, PA, Edward was the son of the late Paul W. Myers & Mary Ellen (Matthews) Myers. He married Lisa Marie (Yingling) Myers on August 22, 1997 in Winchester, VA. She survives at home.
Edward attended the Grace United Methodist Church in Philipsburg, PA. He was also a life member of the B.P.O. Elks in Philipsburg, PA.
He was a retired Penelec and First Energy Equipment Operator.
Edward was a 1965 graduate from the P.O. High School. He also had his BS from Mansfield State University.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jean Lee.
In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by a daughter, Kimberly E. Ross & her husband Edward Ross of Philipsburg, PA; two sons, Aaron E. Myers & his wife Kimberly Myers of Media, PA, and Timothy G. Cartwright of Morrisdale, PA; a brother, Matthew Gerald Myers of Philipsburg, PA; and four grandchildren, Ava Myers, Conor Myers, Chloe Cartwright, and Makayla Ross.
Ed enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Per Edward’s wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, Osceola Mills, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
