Gladys M. Brewster, 83, passed away peacefully in her Lewistown home on Friday, May 9, 2025. She is survived by her son, Brian, daughter, Cynthia, and granddaughter, Beverleigh. Born in Potters Mills and raised in Centre Hall, she married PSU graduate, Jesse Brewster, Jr during the ‘50s, and together raised their family in Bucks County until his passing in 2004. She returned here with her late sister, Faye, in 2006.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 11am – 12 noon at the Barbara Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, Inc in Centre Hall. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon with Evelyn Wald officiating. Gladys will be laid to rest next to her husband and mother at the Reformed & Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.
