Harold “Chuck” Charles Neff, 65, of Port Matilda, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Born on December 1, 1957, in State College, he was the son of the late Harold E. and Nancy (Werner) Neff. He was married to his beloved wife of 27 years, Cynthia L. (Silks) Neff, who also survives at home.
Chuck was a 1975 graduate of State College Area High School. He worked as an independent contractor for local transportation and drove for various locations, including CATA buses, until his retirement in 2020.
In addition to his wife, Cynthia, he is survived by his two daughters, Marie Florian and Elizabeth Neff, both of State College, and two grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother and two sisters.
Chuck attended Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg. He was an avid animal lover, especially dogs, and in his free time, he enjoyed spending time outdoors.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
