Lillian M. Parker, 84, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Friday, January 30, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on August 15, 1941, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Calvin McCloskey and Beulah (Ziegler) McCloskey. On June 29th, 1961, she married her beloved husband, Wilbur Parker, who survives at home after sharing almost 65 years of marriage together.
Lillian was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. While the majority of her life was spent raising and being with her family, she did spend several years working at both Erie Tech and Sunset West.
In addition to her husband, Wilbur, she is survived by their children, Billie Nyman (Randy) of Howard, and Sean Parker (Carlie Rose) of Lock Haven, and seven grandchildren: Woodrow Confer, Jared Nyman, Damian Parker, Joseph Confer, Jaden Nyman, Elora Parker, and Wolfgang Parker, and four great grandchildren, Braxton, Asura, Ryker, and Kayson. Also surviving is a brother, Nate McCloskey.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Mitzi Confer, a great grandson, Tate Nyman, twin grandchildren, Brady and Breana Parker, and her siblings, Chuck, Calvin, and Pat.
Lillian enjoyed reading, writing poetry, and playing computer games. She looked forward to going out to eat at some of her favorite restaurants including Perkins and the Variety Buffet. More than anything, she treasured the time that she spent with her family.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 1:00 – 2:30 PM, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 135 West Main Street, Howard, with funeral services beginning at 2:30 PM. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
